Flight Readiness Technicians perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, including, troubleshooting pre and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions for delivery. This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
Assists in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and assists in repairing faulty components.
Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions.
Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.
Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection.
Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.
Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must be able to a variable shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) including days, nights and weekends.
Minimum 3 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
Minimum 3 months of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
Minimum 3 months of 787 Program Experience.
Familiar with Boeing Production System.
Experience with Field/Flight Line Operations.
Typical Education/Experience:
Entry Level (Level A): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
Associate (Level B): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Entry Level (Level A) summary pay: $53,000
Associate (Level B) summary pay range: $59,120 - $64,500
