Drive Performance Where It Matters MostPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at our client’s automotive manufacturing facility in West Point, GA. In this critical role, you’ll maintain and repair forklifts essential to production and logistics—ensuring uptime, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:Transport, maintain, and repair LPG and electric forklifts at client locations, including inside the Kia Plant.
Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
Utilize diagnostic software and tools to assess and restore equipment performance.
Interpret technical schematics and service documents to execute precise repairs.
Assist with procurement and coordination of tools and parts.
Operate equipment during emergencies in compliance with safety standards.
Maintain organized documentation of service work, inspections, and customer interactions.
Keep the work environment safe, clean, and compliant with OSHA and company standards.
Stay current with industry trends and continually advance your mechanical knowledge through training and certifications.
What We’re Looking For:Required Qualifications:
Proven experience repairing LPG and electric forklifts.
Strong diagnostic skills using computerized tools and software.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
Experience working independently on major repairs (e.g., hydraulic systems, circuit boards, transmissions, engines).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Commitment to safety, organization, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting.
Familiarity with IT troubleshooting for forklift systems.
Technical training or certification in equipment maintenance or a related field.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
