Job Title: GSE Technician
Job DescriptionThe GSE Technician will be responsible for inspecting and troubleshooting diesel engines on ground support equipment. This role requires diagnosing issues related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic hoses, compressors, and more. The position involves extensive travel, with approximately 50 of the month spent traveling, primarily by work van, but occasionally by air. You will work on equipment that tows planes, refuels planes, and includes items such as HPUs, CPUs, jacks, and tripods.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot diesel engines on ground support equipment.
- Diagnose issues related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic hoses, and compressors.
- Travel approximately 50 of the month for work purposes, including both driving and air travel.
- Work on equipment that tows and refuels planes, including HPUs, CPUs, jacks, and tripods.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 3 years experience working with diesel equipment.
- Proficiency in hydraulics and electrical systems is crucial.
- Experience in engine replacements.
- Must have a valid drivers license and US citizenship.
- Computer literacy is required.
- Ability to travel 50 of the time.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with ground service equipment (GSE) is a plus.
- Prior travel experience is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a 1st shift schedule, typically from 7 AM to 4 PM, though hours may vary when traveling. Most workdays are 10 hours long. Travel includes working at FBOs or general aviation shops, primarily at smaller airports. When not traveling, you will work at a local, temperature-controlled shop in a new building. Candidates are not required to bring their own tools, as all are provided by the company.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
