YOUR ROLE AS A :AirAsia X is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Guest Services Officer – Busan Gimhae International Airport to be part of the best airline team in the sky!
This position reports to the Station Manager. The Guest Services Officer shall maintain the highest level of safety, security, and service standards for all ground operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Report directly to the Station Manager
Maintain the highest level of safety, security, and service standards for ground operations
YOUR DUTIES:Ensure smooth daily Guest Services operations at the Check-in Counter, Gate Management, and Arrival Hall, including preparation of daily operations reports
Ensure staff are properly planned before the start of operations by:
Updating staff on operational information
Conducting briefings and de-briefings
Assigning staff to designated operational areas
Ensuring all required tools and equipment are sufficient and in good working order
Ensure the check-in counter opens at least 4 hours prior to departure time
Ensure all systems are operational prior to counter opening (e.g. conveyor, BHS, tubs, and FIDS)
Monitor staff movement, discipline, and attendance; escalate issues to the superior when required
React promptly to any delays and inform the Supervisor on duty to take necessary corrective actions
Ensure all SOPs are implemented in accordance with the Ground Operations Manual (GOM)
Comply with Airline Standards, Safety Performance requirements, applicable laws, and procedures in all locations where operations are conducted
YOUR TRAITS:Friendly, mature, humble, honest, and meticulous in approach
Self-starter with the ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment
Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Korean or other local languages will be an added advantage
Ability to maintain high confidentiality; tactful and discreet when dealing with people
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willing and able to work on shifts
