The Team

The Role
As an HR Advisor, you’ll support the HR Manager by providing expert professional advice and guidance to your client area. You’ll interpret HR policies and procedures, manage complex employee relations cases, and champion HR generalist best practice. You’ll play a key role in ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance across all people matters.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who can:
> Provide clear advice to managers and employees on terms and conditions of employment and HR policies.
> Keep line management tools and guides up to date with statutory changes and business priorities.
> Manage and advise on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence matters, escalating as needed.
> Track and analyse employee relations cases, identifying interventions to reduce re-occurrence.
> Support Employment Court cases and deliver people management training to line managers.
> Maintain strong relationships with unions and Works Councils, leading negotiations and meetings.
> Advise on recruitment policy and support managers through recruitment activities.
> Monitor people metrics and recommend interventions to improve performance.
> Support business processes such as engagement surveys and pay reviews.
> Undertake benchmarking and support union consultations and negotiations.
