In this role, you will:
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of refrigeration systems.
- Follow the plan, and layout for the installation/repair, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment. Includes using blueprints and specifications.
- Troubleshoot system performance problems including:
- Diagnose of energy control circuits.
- Diagnose failed compressor parts for determining causes of compressor failures.
- Record and interpret temperature and pressure readings taken from an operating system, and to diagnose refrigeration system problems.
- Perform component start-up and checkout procedures, including standard gas valves.
- Set-up economizer unit.
- Test and service single and three phase electrical systems and components.
- Install system piping.
- Interpret NEC and ANSI style control wiring diagrams.
- Properly handle, rig, and place refrigeration equipment, as needed.
- Assist and verify work performed by outside contractors, including, but not limited to, coolant recovery, equipment overhaul, equipment check out and equipment start-up.
You have: (required)
- 2 year technical degree in HVAC or dual trade OR
- 2 years of HVAC or dual trade Experience
