About the role
The Head of F&B Operations provides strategic leadership and direction to ensure the food and beverage operation in HIA achieves set goals and contributes positively to the guest experience and overall profitability of the department whilst maintaining QDF Brand standards at all times and ensure full compliance with all governmental regulations concerning health, safety, or other requirements, driving the top line of the Food & Beverage Department in HIA while ensuring sustainable and profitable operations. Organize and direct a team that develops top quality of food & beverage products with prompt, accurate and personalized service.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyse spanet dynamics, competitor check, division level objectives and important aspects of the business nature to accurately diagnose strengths and weaknesses of the current F&B set up, anticipate opportunities and risks, identify issues, and develop strategies and plans. Establish challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide operation and performance of the team, aligning individual and team actions with strategies and plans to drive business results.
Developing overall food and beverage strategy in order to provide innovative and exciting guest experiences across HIA that meet the business objectives.
Lead organizational and administrative functions in all areas of the Food and Beverage Department to ensure successful delivery of the strategy to achieve operational excellence and profitability across the department.
To develop food and beverage operating strategy that is aligned with the QDF business strategy and leads its execution.
Lead, manage and monitor the entire F&B department to ensure an efficient operation in line with department objectives, excelling the company and customer expectations in performance by driving continues improvement program with monthly reviews.
Monitoring service and food and beverage standards in all outlets and kitchens ensuring that managers take corrective actions as necessary.
Make recommendations for modernization of equipment, service methods, and presentation to improve guest satisfaction and profits.
Oversight the F&B quality standards, plan and carry out periodically audit with Manager Operation Culinary and Quality Assurance to ensure full compliance with local legislation and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standard, be conversant and act in accordance with any such matters relating to food and beverage department to ensure the highest food hygiene standards achieved and maintained.
Initiating & implementing special promotions, activities and projects that generate additional revenue and popular interest across all operating outlets.
Participating in public relations activities, sales calls or other promotional activities designed at enhancing the image and profitability of the Food and Beverage department.

About you
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
High School / Vocational Qualification with Minimum 12 years of job-related experience; OR
Bachelor Degree with Minimum 10 years of job-related experience (Degree/equivalent in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred)
Executive Management experience for F&B operation (preferred)
Management experience of large team (300+) (preferred)
Work experience in international chain hotel or airport operation environment
Command of English language
