Role PurposeResponsible for leading MASkargo’s strategic initiatives, business planning, key projects, and product development. Drive strategic partnerships and alliances to expand spanet reach, enhance efficiency, and support growth. Oversee digital spaneting, business intelligence, corporate communications, and e-commerce initiatives to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and brand positioning. Explore joint ventures, partnerships, and alliances to strengthen competitive advantage and network expansion.
Key Accountabilities - Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities across the cargo and logistics ecosystem.
- Ensure alignment with company and Group goals; assess value, risks, and feasibility.
- Develop comprehensive partnership plans covering contracts, KPIs, and performance reviews.
- Manage partner relationships, communication, and issue resolution while fostering collaboration.
- Monitor alliance performance to ensure compliance with revenue, service, and KPI targets.
- Work with internal stakeholders (commercial, revenue management, operations, spaneting) to maximise partnership value.
- Project Management & Business Intelligence
- Lead Business Intelligence Unit to support revenue-generating initiatives.
- Research cargo business trends and develop new products with operational processes, spaneting strategy, budgets, and ROI projections.
- Ensure synchronisation of strategy and product development across divisions and subsidiaries.
- Consolidate KPIs and annual budget submissions; ensure adherence to finance guidelines.
- Review management papers to ensure compliance with governance and process standards.
- Coordinate annual company strategy development, KPI setting, and long-term communication strategies.
- Ensure responsiveness to rapid industry changes impacting the business.
- Digital Marketing
- Formulate and execute digital distribution strategies to maximise reach and revenue.
- Oversee distribution of digital content across platforms.
- Develop digital spaneting strategies aligned with company and Group objectives.
- Strategic Communications
- Manage budget and execution of company events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Ensure internal and external communications comply with Group guidelines and policies.
Qualifications - Degree in a related field with at least 10 years’ experience in cargo/airline business, including 3 years in management.
Experience - Extensive knowledge of business operations, product development, and airline industry practices.
- Proven track record in strategy execution, alliances, and business development.
Personality Traits - Strong management and conflict resolution skills.
