Head, Group Finance Business Partner – Corporate Planning

Group Chief Financial Officer

• Responsible for business partnering with business heads across the group, enforcing financial controllership and delivering critical business insights to drive improved financial performance. In addition, he/she shall oversee and lead in all corporate planning and reporting activities.
• Annual and long-term planning, management reporting, statutory reporting and tax compliance, delivering timely business insights and ensuring effective financial controllership at business.

• Support the GCFO in all aspects of the Group’s annual and long-term strategic planning, merger and acquisition activities.
• Partner with business across the group in enforcing financial controllership and providing financial and operational insights to drive improved financial performance.
• Lead and direct annual and long-term financial planning, ad-hoc forecasting and business modelling for the Group.
• Ensure that statutory and regulatory financial reporting and taxation obligations are met to support management and the Board of Directors in discharging their fiduciary duties and mitigate financial risk.
• Ensure that stakeholders receive accurate, compliant and timely Group, Company and subsidiary financial and management reporting and analysis for decision making.
• Drive development and improvement of data analytics in reporting through innovation and embracing new technology to deliver:
    i) improved speed, accuracy and quality of reporting
    ii) enhanced quality, relevance and depth of business analytics
• Through data analytics, work with Business Leaders to identify areas for improvement, design business solutions, and drive execution to help mitigate revenue leakages, reduce cost inefficiencies and drive improved financial performance across the group.
• Lead and coach subsidiaries’ CFOs in enforcing financial controllership and financial discipline, managing the working capital optimally and driving improved financial performance at the subsidiaries.
• Provide leadership, coach and develop staff within the department to have sufficient knowledge, skills and competency to carry out their responsibilities.
• Develop and drive the implementation of process improvements, policies and procedures, information technology/systems and DNA change to transform the department into a world-class finance function.
• Responsible for setting and meeting the budget for the department.

• Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.).
• 15 years’ experience in Accounting and/or Finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior management capacity with experience in global/multi-divisional business, including:
  • Business Analytics and Reporting
  • Financial Forecasting
  • Finance Business Partnering
  • Airline Accounting/Finance
