Job Description
The role of Aircraft Technician involves performing detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of aircraft parts and components. You will conduct operational checks to verify the proper functioning of components and systems, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
- Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot to diagnose malfunctions or failures on aircraft systems, including equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.
- Ensure completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
- Follow all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
- Participate in flight tests on aircraft, log work to be performed, and interface with customers for delivery.
Essential Skills
- A&P License or 18 months of experience or repairmans certification.
- 6+ years performing aircraft maintenance.
- Experience with rotary wing platforms such as UH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in MRO is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Airbus airframes, Safran Turbomeca engines, or Pratt and Whitney engines is preferred but not required.
- Consideration given to fixed-wing experience with an A&P License on a case-by-case basis.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-climate controlled hangar, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures and conditions.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
