Purpose:
The Housekeeper position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment across hangars, production areas, offices, and common spaces within Citadel Aviation facilities. This role supports operational excellence by ensuring facility cleanliness standards align with aviation safety requirements and VIP customer expectations. The Housekeeper team member is expected to meet established KPIs related to cleanliness standards, safety compliance, task completion, and responsiveness.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform routine cleaning of hangars, production floors, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, break areas, and common spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Remove trash, recycling, and waste materials in accordance with company and environmental guidelines.
- Expected to meet KPIs related to cleanliness inspection scores, task completion rates, response time for service requests, and safety compliance metrics.
- Clean and maintain floors in office and industrial areas, including proper handling of industrial cleaning equipment as required.
- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies including paper products, soap, and sanitation materials.
- Support facility readiness for customer visits, audits, aircraft deliveries, and executive meetings.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns to the Facilities Coordinator or supervisor.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–3 years of janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
- Experience working in an aviation, industrial, manufacturing, or hangar environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper chemical handling procedures.
- Experience supporting executive offices or high-visibility customer environments.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Working Conditions:
This position is considered INDUSTRIAL / FACILITY SUPPORT WORK and is characterized as follows:
- Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting throughout hangars, production floors, offices, and common areas.
- Regular use of cleaning equipment and tools including mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, ladders, and other custodial equipment.
- May require climbing ladders or step stools to clean elevated surfaces or fixtures.
- Exposure to varying climate conditions typical of an aviation hangar and industrial facility, including heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, debris, and industrial environments consistent with aircraft maintenance and modification operations.
- Must follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and materials up to 25–50 pounds as needed.
