Human Resources Representative Summary
Serves as a primary contact with employees on employee relations related issues. Participates in various Human Resources initiatives and serves as backup to various HR functions
Human Resources Representative Essential Functions
Work with Learning and Development team to administer new training programs and scheduling of, in order to improve plant performance.
Assist in the development and oversee maintenance of the database system for training records.
Formulate, recommend and administer HR policies.
Communicate policies to facilitate a common understanding and consistent application throughout the facility.
Prepare information, analyze, make recommendations for and participate in labor contract negotiations.
Consults with managers and employees on issues including performance management, termination, career development, harassment, discrimination and other personnel issues.
Interpret, consistently apply, document and represent the Company in employee relations and other personnel related matters. Communicate policies to facilitate a common understanding and application throughout the facility.
Administer disciplinary action as required.
Acts as business partner for managers and supervisors providing counseling and support in dealing with employer/employee relations’ issues and interpretation/application of employment practices and procedures.
Investigate and respond to allegations or complaints regarding harassment or work environment issues.
Serves as a back-up in the administration of various employee benefit programs, such as group health insurance (medical, pharmaceutical, vision and dental), accident and disability insurance, savings plans, life insurance plans, personal choice (flex) plans, employee assistance program.
Recruiting for hourly and salaried employees, create talent pipeline for co-ops, interns and direct hires.
Maintain all applicable data in applicable HR information system (SAP), including benefit enrollment and changes.
Prepare new and revise old job descriptions as needed for all classes of employees. Classify according to applicable system.
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in the development of and coordinate the implementation of TIMET HR department goals and objectives.
Participate in Human Resources initiatives.
Maintenance of relevant information in SAP.
Alleviate and remedy employee complaints and concerns.
Publish periodic reports such as overtime, headcount and various SAP reports as needed.
Working with the Learning & Development group, assist in the development and implementation of organizational training/development issues.
Other duties as required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor&39;s degree in Human Resources, Labor, Industrial Relations, Business or related field.
3 to 5 years of generalist experience including: benefits, labor relations, recruiting, and employee relations.
