This is a Fixed-Term Assignment for 12 months

Job overview and responsibilities

Support the implementation of a full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, and employee relations, and other corporate programs. Provide assistance and guidance to line and staff management in the interpretation of policies local law work rules and procedures to assure consistent application. Will also have overall responsibility for the management of HR issues and programs in the given countries

  • Recruitment & Retention:
    • Plan and conduct recruitment & selection exercises with hiring managers
    • Interview and help select successful candidates with hiring department and business partner
    • Prepare employment letters, coordinate with Payroll, process file number, new hire forms and conduct New Hire Orientation session with new employees
    • Monitoring the workplace for compliance with our harassment and discrimination policy and liaison with the training department for the provision of related education programs
    • Maintain up-to-date workforce statistics
    • Analyze data to meet various manpower plans
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    • Keep abreast of the regulatory changes that may impact the company’s HR policies & program
    • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
    • Provide data analysis and reports for all HR-related information
    • Analyze data and consolidate survey data and communicate survey results to participants
    • Support the implementation of corporate incentive programs such as On-time bonus, AIP, Profit Sharing and Perfect Attendance, etc
    • Arrange communication sessions to explain new corporate programs
    • Manage and administer local and company provided employee benefit schemes
    • Review and monitor benefit plans/remuneration calculation methodology to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements
  • Annual Salary Review and Incentive Plans
    • Data analysis of attrition and sick leave statistics
    • Collaborate with local payroll on all payroll-related issues
  • Corporate Social Responsibilities:
    • Plan and organize community service activities with charitable organizations for co-workers’ voluntary participation
    • Communicate and encourage co-workers’ participation in charitable activities available in the community
    • Manage HR budget administration
  • This position is based in the office at FRA airport. It is a hybrid position.
  • This is a Fixed-Term Assignment for 12 months

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor Professional of Human Resources Management (Personalfachkaufmann) or equivalent experience in HR.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR field or role with heavy HR responsibilities
  • Good analytical skills and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of German labor laws, employment labor law, and HR best practices
  • Ensure accurate and confidential handling of employee data
  • Ensure compliance with HR related Data privacy and security protocols
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the global HR team
  • Maintain impeccable record keeping, reporting, and employment practices
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Germany for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
