IT Program Manager

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Project Manager for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work location: Partial Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite and as needed
Duration: 12 months
Term: W2 position

Position summary:

As Project Manager you will be working with teams to develop and deliver projects that are focused on Security and Compliance and/or Infrastructure.
May be responsible for program level work, collaborating with other project managers to monitor and control the overall program.
Presents status twice a month to executive teams.

Required technologies:

MS Teams

Project
Must have experience presenting to the C-Suite
Building and delivering presentations

Preferred:

PMP Certification

Nice to have:

Experience with security and compliance projects or infrastructure projects is a plus

Soft skills:

Communication skills
Able to handle ambiguous requirements
Ability to build and drive the plan

Minimum required work experience:

7 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 4 years leading multiple concurrent project teams.
Completion of the company Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of experience.

About the team:

The ITSO PMO (Information Technology Solutions Organization) is comprised of a team of 10 project managers.
Each project manager oversees 3 to 6 concurrent initiatives within their area of focus.
The team fosters a collaborative, supportive environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and a positive, engaging culture.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree;
OR, Associates degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)
