IT Support Technician II

Job Description:

DPP is seeking an IT Support Technician for an opportunity in Englewood, Colorado.

Location: Onsite in Englewood, CO
Duration: 12 months, W2 position

Position summary:

As an IT Support Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to provide computer, hardware, and software support to employees.
You&39;ll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing desktop/laptop computers and network equipment, providing personal computer, hardware, and software support and installing attendant software.
You&39;ll investigate information, network, and communications needs of employees and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases to meet those needs.

Ability to understand user and business needs and translate to technical solutions.
Basic knowledge of current IT technical standards as related to computers, printers, network technology, drivers, software troubleshooting, VPN technologies and RSA and Video Teleconference (VTC) and other related peripherals.
Comprehensive troubleshooting skills of industry standard hardware and software products/services.

Education/equivalency:

Associate degree in a related field of study with 2 or more years of relevant experience.
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.

Work environment:

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements: Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps. Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity. Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors. Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes. Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions: Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.) Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials. Rarely exposed to loud noises.
