Our facility in King of Prussia, PA seeks an early career level Program Planner to support the Advanced Strategic Programs within the Space and Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business. This is an exciting opportunity that will have the size and scope to offer you valuable career development experiences. Some travel may be required (up to 5).


Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will….,

• Develop, status, and analyze complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in sufficient detail to monitor progress.

• Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.

• Use critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution

• Perform independent schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning

• Develop/maintain Earned Value Management System metrics and provide monthly status and analysis in conjunction with Program Finance and CAMs

• Interface with a variety of program functional organizations such as Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Subcontract Management, Business Management, and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate customer requirements into the program baseline

• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule

• Maintain, publish, and present relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering

Basic Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of prior experience working in a program or operational planning capacity

• Experience using the Microsoft Project planning tool or another comparable planning tool

• Must be a United States citizen with an active Secret clearance prior to start and be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree

• Advanced skills with MS Project

• 3-5 years of experience coordinating with engineering and manufacturing for accurate forecast alignment and vertical integration.

• Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)

• Earned Value Management experience

• Experience with DCMA Audits

• Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews

• Experience with DDM analysis and Implementation

• Strong influencing and relationship management skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team

• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
