Junior Front End Developer

Job Description:

We are now hiring a Junior Front End Developer for our GBS, in Lisbon

Responsibilities - your mission
Join the GBS team as a front end developer in order to contribute to exciting projects in a dynamic development environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities will include

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives and user needs.

• Develop and maintain user-facing features, interfaces and solutions for various projects.

• Implement responsive designs to ensure optimal user experience across various devices.

• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code using main coding languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues to enhance performance and functionality.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas.

• Adapt rapidly in an evolving environment through multifunctional and international teams.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems Technology or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace APIs integration points and other Google Cloud Platform services would be a plus.

• Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git).

• Knowledge of RESTful API integration.

• Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail..

• Up to 2-3 years of experience in front end development.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Basic knowledge of agile development methodologies
