The C4ISR organization is looking for a Laboratory Technician IV to join their fast-paced Lab Services team in Hudson, NH. You will be responsible for providing oversight to assure compliance with company procedures and safety requirements for the day-to-day operation of the lab(s). This role will have you side by side with the engineers in supporting their requirements and needs to produce successful results. There will be opportunities in a wide variety of non-routine complex assignments including test and troubleshooting of complex precision electronic circuit cards, subsystems, and systems in the Digital and RF Domain. The candidate will acquire product knowledge, use, and advance their upgrades skills while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work in the Engineering Product Support lab prioritizing multiple assignments and functions in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Prepare facility work orders, information technology (IT) orders, and track and manage test equipment utilization and movement.
Conduct weekly and quarterly lab self-assessments to ensure labs are operating in a safe and compliant manner.
Perform periodic verification of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) lab bench mats as per company guidelines while documenting results on an online database.
Support both internal QA audits and outside audits for DCMA and ISO AS9100. Assist with deficiencies as required to close out corrective actions.
Support day-to-day technician activities for programs and engineers by providing basic engineering supplies such as cables and other related hardware items.
Perform repairs on both deliverable and non-deliverable products such as Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA’s) and sub-assemblies.
Able to read and interpret electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
Assemble or repair engineering test fixtures with both electro and mechanical skills.
Build new CCA’s to latest operations and or engineering pre-release work sheets and identify any discrepancies to engineering.
Supports the rework or build of test support or systems cables
Use a Digital Voltmeter to measure / verify installed CCA components and perform continuity checks on cabling or follow circuit traces
Documentation of the following: Rework and non-conformance in a controlled database. Regular lab safety and compliance reports include closing out on any deficiencies in a timely manner.
