Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring Cirrus buildings, grounds, and infrastructure is safe, well maintained, and secure. Directs and coordinates activities around preparing work orders and directing the workflow to maintain equipment, delivery, and flight training operations. This position will report to the Facilities Director and coordinate facility work schedules within Knoxville facility teams and support Customer Experience Team operations in existing Texas, Florida and Arizona locations and potential future locations.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, hangar doors, fire protection systems, utilities, and building automation systems.
- Ensure facilities reliably support aircraft delivery, flight operations, training, and administrative functions.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and asset life.
- Ensures all safety standards and policies are met. Conducts regular observations for safety compliance and corrects unsafe acts and conditions within and external to our buildings.
- Resolves equipment operational issues that come up to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Supervises Facilities maintenance teams including scheduling, hiring, performance management & employee development.
- Day to Day Facility team scheduling and work order completion within CMMS systems.
- Monitor with BMS and control temperature and humidity equipment to maintain environmental standards.
- Provide tracking and reporting within the CMMS management system, for PMs Work Orders and timely completion of Technicians work.
- Manage relationships with third-party contractors and service providers for facility repairs, construction projects, and other outsourced services.
- ensure vendors meet agreed-upon service levels, quality standards, and timelines.
- Assist in developing and managing the facility maintenance budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor maintenance and facility operational costs, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support facility-related projects, including new construction, facility upgrades, renovations, and system installations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute facility projects.
- Implement and recommend processes that enhance facility efficiency and reliability.
- Address urgent facility issues such as emergency repairs and system failures, coordinating with maintenance teams and vendors
- Provide training, development, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, promoting teamwork and alignment with organizational goals.
- Leverage technology and data-driven insights to improve facility performance and streamline operations.
- Collaborate and develop good working relationships with EHS team to ensure facility compliance standards are being met
- Maintain accurate documentation including PM records, permits, inspections, and asset data.
- Responsible for delivering clear and concise communication in a timely manner to stakeholders, technicians and supervisors.
- Flexibility in job tasks is a must for this position due to quickly changing priorities.
- Manage and assist in spare parts inventory to maintain critical equipment
- Partners with Program Managers and Facility Architect regarding Furniture procurement - workstations, offices, breakrooms, ancillary seating, company store
- Ownership of the workstation allocations to manage employee locations, coordinate personnel moves & new hire seating
- Set up and tear down support for internal and external events.
- Supporting and promoting a positive and productive work environment for employees by providing excellent service as it pertains to workplace services.
- Support general administration and scheduling duties within workplace services.
Multi-Site Support
- Provide leadership and operational support for facilities at McKinney, Scottsdale, and Kissimmee locations.
- Standardized processes, PM programs, documentation, and compliance practices across all supported sites.
- Coordinate remote troubleshooting, planning, and project execution while maintaining strong on-site partnerships.
- Travel to supported sites as required for audits, projects, outages, or critical support.
- Ability to balance on-site and remote facility support
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting multiple sites or remote operations.
- Strong computer skills required for project management and PM scheduling within CMMS software.
- Eight years recent and demonstrated experience in leadership of people and projects of all sizes
- Leadership experience required; formal training strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire protection).
- Proven experience managing maintenance teams and working with contractors.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute complex projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to effectively manage stress, including completing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
- Knowledge of industrial building operations
- Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
