Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator will be the go-to for research, creation, communication, and implementation of marketing aspects for Academy College.  This person should have a go-getter attitude, enjoys juggling multiple projects, has solid communication skills, is both a team and independent player and is not afraid to be challenged.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with head of marketing on budgeting, monthly campaigns, aggressive market research and tracking progress of efforts.
  • Establish and run all social media campaigns including creative content development, production, and tracking campaign progress.
  • Track and assess website conversion rates and make changes to website and landing pages to improve performance.
  • Identify and implement methods to improve organic search rankings.
  • Develop content and drive google adwords rankings.
  • Plans, implements and negotiates all print ad campaigns (newspapers and magazines) with external media vendors. 
  • Excecutes the creative development and trafficking of all print ads with graphics staff.
  • Manages all purchase orders and organizes billings from advertising media for sign-off by supervisor and other department heads.
  • Coordinates promotional events as well as markets to desired demographic.
  • Work in partnership with other departments with advertising projects as assigned.
  • Manage all company swag, from creation to inventory.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 2 plus years of experience with increasing responsibility in advertising and marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners.
  • Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and the ability to work with multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Capable of handling a variety of day-to-day tasks concurrently and developing good working relationships with fellow staff members, vendors and advertising representatives.
