PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Grinder / Metal Finishing Technician to support one of our client’s aerospace manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will prepare and finish precision‑machined components used in critical flight and aircraft systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on grinding experience, strong attention to surface integrity, and a commitment to the high quality and safety standards required in the aerospace sector.
Pay: $25.32 Shift: Mon-Fri 4AM to 12:30PM
Key Responsibilities
Operate swing and hand grinders to remove defects and prep components for finishing
Inspect surfaces for imperfections and ensure smooth, aerospace‑grade finishes
Select/install abrasives and perform grinding, deburring, and polishing
Replace worn belts/disks and maintain equipment
Follow all safety, quality, and AS9100‑compliant procedures
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
2+ years grinding or metal finishing experience (aerospace preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify surface defects
Knowledge of abrasives, metals, and finishing processes

Pay Details: $25.32 per hour
