The job will consist in integrating prototype optical sensor systems, with photonic and electronic hardware subsystems, and designing the associated software for data acquisition and processing, as well as hardware control.
It is required to have experience working in an optoelectronics /electronics lab.
It is required to have experience with software for device control, instrumentation (Labview).
It is required to have knowledge in Simulation (Pspice or equivalent) and design of printed circuits. Capture of schematics. PCB layout experience (Altium, Mentor…).
Understanding of requirements and definition of architectures. Definition of subsystem requirements. Clarification of requirements with clients and suppliers, coordination of suppliers. Evaluation of technical offers.
Are you THE one ?
Experience integrating prototype optical sensor systems, with photonic and electronic hardware subsystems, and designing the associated software for data acquisition and processing, as well as hardware control.
Experience working in an optoelectronics /electronics lab.
Experience in testing with optoelectronics /electronics systems and components.
Years of experience prototyping electronic and photonic systems.
Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing, prototype integration and testing.
Knowledge of electronic systems, software design and firmware.
Experience with software for device control, instrumentation (Labview).
Experience using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, digitizers.
Component soldering.
English ( advanced or more)
Multidisciplinary teamwork. High organizational skills. Proactive and self-sufficient. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position is to work in the scope of an aeronautical Research & Technology project hence it is required to have a pro-active profile and to be responsible from end-to-end from the design to the validation.
Other valuable skills:
Experience in the design, manufacturing and debugging of analog, digital and RF circuits.
Experience in Matlab, Python or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis.
FPGAs.
Basic knowledge of photonics, mechanics and thermal design.
