Icelandair is looking for a strong team member with a passion for Occupational health, safety and environmental issues. The position involves overseeing safety, health and environmental reports and issues at Icelandair.
Key responsibilities:
- Processes reports related to employee safety and occupational health
- Work on improvements and prevention in safety, health and environmental issues
- Prepare training and educational materials and disseminate information on occupational safety issues to employees
- Manage incident registration and oversee investigations of occupational incidents and accidents
- Manage communication with external parties related to incident registration and insurance
- Maintain a strong safety culture within the company
- Handle communication with regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Education that is useful in the job.
- Experience in safety, health and environmental matters is a requirement.
- Shows respect and integrity to colleagues and the environment in work.
- Independent work style and initiative.
- Professional ambition and organizational skills.
- Good Icelandic and English skills and the ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
