Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Operations Assistant who is self-motivated and can operate within a dynamic work environment to provide support in three main functional areas: security, administrative, and GFE property accountability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to security activities to include but not limited to:

    o Prepare (wrap/document prep) Classified packages for shipment.

    o Prepare Unclassified Fed Ex packages for shipment.

    o Work with the badging system / printing EWC badges

    o Assist with Security Inspections.

    o Learn the CAC process to be able to monitor and report status.

    o Learn the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) process for VAR request and sending clearances to be able to outline the process for visitors.

    o Learn the Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) process for SCI clearance indocs and transfers to be able to monitor and report status.

  • Provide support to administrative activities to include but not limited to:

    o Participate in weekly meetings and training events hosted by PEO Internal Control Administrator (ICA).

    o Take Risk Management Internal Control (RMIC) Role based training, RMIC Tool training and other trainings as assigned.

    o Gain access to RMIC Tool as surrogate to PM ICA.

    o Assist PM ICA in administrative tasks such as:

    • Generating appointment memos and obtaining signatures.

    • Consolidation of training certificates and tracking of completion dates.

    • Editing file names to align with naming conventions.

    • Consolidation of supporting documents in the fashion determined by PEO ICA.

    • Upload of completed files to RMIC Tool.

  • Have a basic understanding of RMIC requirements to step into role in the event of PM ICA’s absence.

  • Serve as backup Executive Administrative Assistant.

  • Provide support to GFE property activities to include but not limited to:
    • Support GFE accountability by performing DPAS transfers, track movement of GFE equipment, and in-processing/out-processing activities.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
  • Experience with tracking and managing GFE property.
  • An understanding of security processes as it pertains to in-processing cleared new hires.
  • Experience in performing administrative office duties for an O5/ O6 PM office or other DOD office.

Clearance

  • Active Secret Clearance

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent

Preferred Requirement

  • TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
