Morson Talent are recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join a leading company based in Cambridge.

Pay: 16.68 per hour PAYE / 22.95 per hour Umbrella
Location: Cambridge

The Role:
As a Logistics Operative, you will carry out a range of warehouse and logistics duties to ensure the effective and efficient control of products within Stores and on the line side with an aerospace business. You’ll play an important role in replenishing the Kanban line, resolving parts issues, maintaining stock accuracy, supporting operational delivery, and providing a high standard of service to internal teams.

Skills and Experience:

• Forklift licence highly desirable, with experience operating a 3-tonne counterbalance truck.

• Good IT knowledge with daily use of complex systems.

• Experience using IFS (or similar ERP systems) would be beneficial but not essential.

• Strong attention to detail, organisational ability, and a proactive approach to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and manage stock movement within the warehouse/hangar environment.

• Deliver a professional level of customer service to internal stakeholders.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.

• Monitor stock levels and vending activities.

• Support and participate in internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with company health & safety procedures.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.

• Maintain warehouse security and access control.
