The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the motor pool, parking area, ensuring security compliance, and assisting with vehicle flow and parking operations.

• Work involves the following: operating daily activity in a parking lot and checking vehicles in and out of lot.
• This worker may be required to move and/or park vehicles.
• The Parking Lot Attendant controls authorized entry and use of motor pool, refers parking related problems arising within the facility to appropriate authorities for administrative action.
• Daily security checks of motor pool and parking lot areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in security, parking operations, or facility access control preferred.
• Military or government facility experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with personnel and visitors.
• Basic computer skills for logging entries and maintaining records.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs if needed.

Certifications:

• Valid Texas driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Ability to obtain base access credentials and pass background checks.

Other Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work on military installations.
• Must adhere to all Department of Defense (DoD) and installation security protocols.
• Must have a Real ID

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with military motor pool operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures and safety standards.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
