TUI BLUE Curaçao is a new all-inclusive hotel resort located at the Bay Santa Martha in Curaçao. The resort will open with 300 rooms and will extend with an additional 100 room extension. It will open with three restaurants, and several other leisure facilities. The construction has already started; the hotel will open in the first quarter of 2026.
Join as Pastry Chef where you will lead and create all pastry offerings across the hotel restaurants and eateries. You will work to craft exceptional pastries, desserts, and baked goods that reflect the hotel and TUI concept highest standards of taste and presentation, enhancing the guest experience.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Design and create a diverse range of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that are aligned with the TUI concept and culinary standards.
- Work with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager to develop seasonal, innovative, and culturally inspired dessert menus.
- Stay updated on global pastry trends to introduce new techniques and flavours.
- Responsible for the pastry and dessert daily preparation, presentation, and service ensuring high standards are delivered.
- Implement food safety standards, ensuring compliance with local health regulations and requirements.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.
- Develop schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure seamless collaboration between the pastry team and other kitchen departments.
Conduct performance reviews on direct team members and providing development feedback to support team growth.
ABOUT YOU
- Preferably with experience in beach resorts and all-inclusive concept
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field
- Proven experience as Pastry Chef or similar within a fast-paced high-end hotel or equivalent setting.
- Culinary certification in pastry/culinary from a recognised institution or equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and cooking techniques and nutrition including delivering with ingredient limitations.
- Familiar with international cuisines and trends highly desirable
- A strong guest focused mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong team player and natural leader with effective communication skills promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Fluent written and verbal English is required for this role. Additional languages are highly advantageous.
