Payroll and Rewards Representative - Temporary

Reporting to the International Compensation Partner, this hybrid position will support the International Human Resources department globally and will be responsible for the administration of the time & attendance system (ADP Workforce Manager) and will act as a representative for international recruitment and compensation. The selected individual will lead the relationships with internal stakeholders who use Workforce Manager as their time and attendance tool and will be responsible for the administration and proper functioning of the system. In addition, the individual will lead the recruitment files and support the compensation programs for the international portfolio.

This position can be located in Rome, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Spain and other European countries. 

Responsibilities:

Time and Attendance

    Responsible for the day-to-day handling of all time & attendance system issues in Workforce Manager (WFM) in international spanets including implementation support, trouble shooting and proper documentation, and communication with the different stakeholders (such as the International HR team, ADP, and users).Assist with the implementations of WFM for new countries by delivering demographic files and business structures, assist with the testing, be part of the communication strategy, and train employees and managers.Be the main contact for managers and employees for any WFM related issues.Complete the ADP input field form for new hires and promotions.Adjust the WFM set-up upon updates and changes in the demographic file (e.g. org sets, and hyperfinds).Investigate and analyze the reported daily errors and process necessary actions.Responsible for all Service request tickets with ADP and follow-up to secure accurate set-up and performance of WFM.Process monthly data integration run for all ADP payrolls with automated data transfer to payroll in coordination with international HR team and payroll.Support clients with updates (e.g. accruals, etc.).Create harmonized reporting structure.Create monthly and annual reports based on local needs, transcript on PowerPoint and present the results to the international HR team and internal clients.Support other duties as required.
Recruitment

    Responsible for tracking and follow-up with the international HR team on recruitment files.Create weekly updates for internal clients on their recruitment files.Update the recruitment log and eStaffs as appropriate.Collaborate with the talent recruiter for files.
Compensation

    Support Air Canada’s annual programs for international employees including (but not specific to) the Annual Salary Program.Collaborate with payroll for the delivery for all international compensation programs.Participate in Compensation benchspaning and salary surveys. Collect spanet survey data in support of various compensation initiatives.Perform in-depth statistical research including spanet surveys in support of Compensation initiatives.Build relationships with internal departments.Participate in the development and/or updating of international Compensation-owned policies (e.g. Employment Conditions and Salary Scales) including surveys, research, analysis, recommendations, and interpretation.Maintain awareness and knowledge of industry, legislative developments, and best practices.Review and update procedures, and compensation guidelines.Perform all other tasks as required.
Qualifications

    College or University degree in Human Resources related disciplines, an asset.Relevant HR designation, an asset.Knowledge of the ADP Workforce Manager (WFM), an asset.Minimum two (2) years experience in administrating time & attendance systems and/or recruitment and/or compensation.Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel and ability to manipulate date and produce correspondence, reports, and other documents.Ability to work under pressure with speed and accuracy and establish priorities while maintaining a high customer service level.Demonstrated customer-service orientation and high degree of diplomacy.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong ability to analyze and play with data.Ability to quickly learn new systems.Ability to take ownership for the area of responsibility.Strong organizational skills.
Conditions of Employment:
