The successful candidate will provide prompt and professional pest control services to residential and commercial clients through inspection, treatment, advice and consultation. You will be able to manage your workload, products, and equipment inventory & be able to work unsupervised.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pest, rodent, and termite control treatments in accordance with company and industry standards.

• Conduct detailed inspections, identify pest activity, and determine the most suitable treatment methods.

• Install, maintain, and monitor bait stations and other pest management systems.

• Complete accurate service reports, inspection notes, and treatment records.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing recommendations and advice.

• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and safe working condition.

• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling protocols.

• Support other technicians and team members as required. Hedge & tree trimming

• Mowing, edging & whipper snipping

• Control weeds and pests through the application of herbicides;

Qualifications and experience

• Current Pest Control License

• Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous;

• Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower

• High attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Initiative & the ability to work with limited supervision.

• Safe operation and care of all equipment

• Current Manual Driver’s License

Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
