Established in 1985 as the airfreight division of Emirates, Emirates SkyCargo is the largest international cargo airline in the world! We are looking for supply chain and logistics professionals ready to support Emirates SkyCargo as our organisation continuously increases its cargo capacity and develops specialised products to meet the growing needs of customers.

As an Express Planning & Development Officer, you will source and identify potential operational vendors for Emirates Courier Express, and coordinate the final selection and onboarding best in class partners to achieve strategic and operational objectives. This is achieved through systematic application of techniques/methods, close coordination with the procurement function, collating and analysing data, setting measurable and relevant Key Performance Indicators reviewing operating processes and recommending system enhancements from standpoint of productivity improvement.

In this role, you will;

• Research, analyse and validate operational data to develop accurate productivity and performance benchspans. Provide insights and recommendations to Line Managers to support budgeting, operational bench-spaning and continuous process improvement.
• Continuously review operational processes against set objectives, offering proactive guidance to enhance efficiency, service quality, customer experience and cost effectiveness.
• Assess opportunities to improve operational efficiency and process accuracy through system enhancements. Translate business needs into clear requirements, prioritise competing requests and liaise with relevant stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Design and maintain Management Information System reports across business units. Use analytical tools to extract and interpret data, conduct scenario simulations and provide business insights to support informed decision making.
• Recommend enhancements to processes, cost, service levels and turnaround times by comparing current operations with internal standards and international best practice.
• Work closely with Learning & Talent to ensure coaching content remains current and that coaching engagement is effectively monitored. Provide professional coaching and analytical support to project teams, ensuring the effective application of methodologies, tools, and techniques to drive continuous improvement. Guide and support the team in task execution, performance feedback, and follow-up, while creating development opportunities that enhance capability, efficiency, and sustained performance.
• Develop, maintain and standardise Key Performance Indicators dashboards and performance measurement frameworks. Build and refine forecasting models to support workload, manpower and budget planning. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with standards and the successful implementation of improvements.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below;

• 5+ years experience working in Express logistics.
• Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent)
• Good understanding of process analysis, performance measurement and continuous improvement methods.
• Effective communication and documentation skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations.
• Able to work with data, reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.
