Position Summary
The Press Operator position will load presses with PTFE powder, and ensure efficient operation of the presses. The position will inspect the product, fill out paperwork, as well as load the product into a batch oven. The position will also be required to maintain the work area and the tooling. The Press Operator will be expected to perform all duties in a safe and conscientious manner.
Record accurate and timely data, including order completions, quantities on daily labor reports, reclaim tickets for reject parts, and daily hours worked.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area, ensuring all walkways and aisles are free of debris and clutter.
Education – High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) – or work equivalent
Experience – 2+ years of experience in manufacturing on similar equipment
Candidate should be able to stand, walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward, reach above their shoulder, climb, crawl, bend, grasp, speak, squat or kneel.
Should be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds with or without assistance and push/pull up to 25 pounds.
Pay Range: $16.00-23.00/hr
