- Full time permanent position
- 24/7 Shift Pattern – Shifts including days, nights and weekends
- Job location: Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB.

To provide pressure testing of aircraft parts (connectors and adaptors) to customer specification.

Essential Responsibilities
HSE
- Interpret and comply with company HS&E Policies and safety regulations
- Identify potential hazards and take appropriate action to eliminate
- To ensure self and other people are working a safe environmentally friendly environment to company H&S standards
Production Output
- The Job Holder is responsible to the Production Supervisor, Treatments
- The job holder receives work instructions from the production schedule provided by the Line Manager and is required to work on own initiative will little supervision other than when priorities are assigned by the Line Manager
- The job holder is responsible for the pressure testing of aircraft parts (connectors & adaptors) to predetermined pressures and to customer specifications. This involves reading the correct pressure to test to from either the job card or from a part/pressure test list
- The job requires the job holder to report any failed test by completion of the NCR form and escalate the issue to the Line Manager
- The job holder is required to cross check the job card to ensure all prior operations have been completed, signed off and stamped prior to carrying out the pressure test. Failure to complete the checks may result in the part requiring reprocessing which may give rise to delays in delivery and additional processing costs
- The job requires the job holder to process parts according to an approximate throughput rate (e.g. 90-150 parts per day) depending on the parts but does not have any departmental targets to achieve
Quality
- To provide pressure testing of aircraft parts (connectors and adaptors) to customer specification and to production schedule
- To cross check the job cards to ensure that prior operations have been signed of and stamped before carrying out any testing. If this is not the case then escalate issue to Line manager

- To ensure the work area complies to the company wide 6S standards
- To ensure snag items from 6S audits are maintained as required from an electrical aspect
Position Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- The job requires a basic level of education, GSCE in Maths or proven apprenticeship
- The job involves setting of pressure gauges and requires a basic level of numeracy
- The job requires basic on the job training to enable the job holder to grasp the rudimentary of the job.
