As the Product Owner, Cabin Services Operations, you will play a key role in delivering the end-to-end digital experience relating to task management, shift management, communications, documentation, and inventory management for cabin grooming.  

Your focus will be on implementing digital products that empower cabin groomers with the tools and capabilities needed to streamline communication, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall work quality for Cabin Services Operations. You will work closely with the Product Manager to ensure the product vision and roadmap are executed effectively.  

Responsibilities : 

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to execute the digital product vision and roadmap for cabin grooming at Air Canada. 
  • Detail features and functionality by creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, triaging bugs, and maintaining a well-prioritized backlog.  
  • Participate in all pod-level Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide daily support to the development team, offering clarifications, ensuring understanding of product vision, driving quality, and amplifying progress. 
  • Conduct user research and interpret analytics to support data-driven discovery, refinement, and prioritization. 
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including cabin groomers, Product Design, and Cabin Services Operations management, to identify business needs and translate them into comprehensive product requirements. 
  • Drive the product lifecycle, from development to launch and continuous enhancement, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. 
  • Communicate product progress, outcomes, and blockers to the Product Manager and key stakeholders. 
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.  
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.  
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Aviation and/or Technology.  
  • Experience with cabin grooming and/or maintenance services an asset. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen, enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.  
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a history of achieving product success and driving business outcomes.  
  • A passion for empowering cabin groomers through forward-thinking digital solutions.

Working Conditions: 

The Product Owner will experience a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring the ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate challenges.
