As the Product Owner for Customer Disruption, you are a pivotal element in the digital transformation journey of our System Operations Control. Your primary focus will be on identifying and implementing technology solutions that streamline day of passenger movement for the SOC team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Passenger Movement, SOC Planning Unit, Customer Journey Management, and IT to execute against the product roadmap, ensuring delivery and alignment with broader business goals.

Responsabilities:

  • Create, manage, and prioritize the day-to-day backlog of user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with quality assurance, designers, developers, and vendors to ensure that stories meet the definition of done.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for story elaboration, grooming, and acceptance.
  • Participate in all pod-level Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with other Product Owners, Product Managers, IT, and Business Subject Matter Experts to prioritize work and identify dependencies.
  • Work close with the Product Manager, Operations Control on program planning, roadmap development, and producing business cases for proposed initiatives.
  • Ensure the high-quality rollout of digital products by coordinating user acceptance testing.
  • Act as a liaison across various workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of Airline operations experience considered an asset.
  • Experience with Operations Products such as Netline Ops, OPR, and Altea considered an asset.
  • 2 + years of prior experience as a Product Owner and working with Agile Product methodologies considered an asset.
  • Exceptional ability to identify and document solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of user needs and the ability to advocate for the end user in the product development process.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure the timely delivery of product features.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Working Conditions:

The role is typically office-based, requiring work in a professional setting. Occasional travel may be required. 

The Product Owner will experience a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring the ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate challenges.
