This role combines strong operational expertise with product ownership accountability. The Product Owner ensures that delivered capabilities align with business priorities, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements, while delivering measurable value to the organization.This role is suited for an experienced crew operations professional who brings both deep domain expertise and the ability to lead product decisions. The Product Owner plays a critical role in ensuring that OpsMOD delivers practical, reliable, and high-value solutions that meet the needs of the business and its stakeholders.
Responsibilities Product Ownership & PrioritizationOwn and manage the product backlog for Crew OpsMOD-related capabilitiesDefine, prioritize, and continuously refine business requirements based on operational needsMake informed decisions on scope, trade-offs, and priorities to maximize business valuePartner with leadership to support product vision and roadmap developmentAct as the primary liaison between operations, business stakeholders, and delivery teamsEngage stakeholders across Crew Scheduling, Tracking, Planning, and Pay functionsBalance competing priorities to ensure timelines are metTranslate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user storiesDefine acceptance criteria and ensure solutions meet business expectations
Validation & Quality AssuranceSupport testing strategy including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements and operational realitiesProvide structured feedback to ensure usability, accuracy, and completenessReview and validate user guides, training materials, and system documentationEnsure content accurately reflects business processes and system
QualificationsSignificant experience in crew scheduling, planning, tracking, or pay environments (typically 3+ years preferred)Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with crew systems (e.g., Netline, Jeppesen, PBS or equivalent) is an assetAbility to make decisions and manage competing priorities under pressureExcellent written and verbal communication skills
