A Laminator (Lay-Up) Technician is an individual who can hand lay-up composite materials using pre-preg materials utilizing lay-up mandrels, molds and small tools. We are looking to work with people that have limited, or good hand dexterity and our company is willing to train. This individual will be handling day to day tool setup and operation and employees are required to perform essential duties satisfactorily with some supervision.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow standard and non-standard operating procedures to hand layup composite fabrics.
  • Record all fabrication accurately and legibly on work orders, routing sheets, department documentation or terminals to ensure recording completion of work-in-process, inventories, schedules, and/or other documentation where required.
  • Organize work areas, perform assigned work and meet or exceed cost, quality and schedule needs.
  • Assure product quality.
  • Maintain a clean work environment (including assigned storage and cleaning duties) in full compliance with all internal, safety, environmental, customer and government regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work at standard hours.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and environment.
  • General computer knowledge required.
  • Must be able to manage change and solve problems.
  • Perform basic shop mathematics.
  • Job requires to be trained and able to handle hazardous waste.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work at standard hours.

REQUIREMENTS

  • U.S. person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance.
  • Ability to lift to 35lbs.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $24.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
