PURPOSEThis position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with colleagues and customers located worldwide. You are driven by details and results enjoy coordinating and facilitating a multitude of tasks and working with others of diverse backgrounds. Coordinating activities are key factors in contributing to project success. In this role you will support Project manager and PMO by ensuring consistent project execution, governance and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThis role offers a range of responsibilities and coordination:
1. Project Coordination
• Support Project Managers in tracking project activities, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate change requests, procurement activities, ensure timely receipt of goods, and follow up on payment completion.
• Monitor project schedules and escalate delays or risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with project objectives.
2. PMO Support & Governance
• Assist in implementing PMO standards, templates, and methodologies across projects.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project governance frameworks.
• Maintain project documentation repositories and support audits or reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
3. Project Administration
• Generate and maintain reports, including resource utilization, risk and issue logs, and stakeholder status updates.
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Support monthly portfolio, program, and project performance reporting.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge management efforts.
4. Project Research & Analysis
• Conduct research to support project planning, execution, and improvement initiatives.
• Analyze historical project data, customer satisfaction surveys, and performance metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCEExperience in project coordination, ideally within a PMO environment.
Proven track record in supporting project managers throughout project lifecycles.
Exposure to purchasing processes and procurement activities.
Experience in reporting and data analysis (considered an advantage).
Previous experience within an IT solutions or airline industry environment is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSUnderstanding of project management principles (PMI/PMBOK, Prince2).
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and prepare reports.
PROFESSION COMPETENCIESEDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONSBusiness or Administrative degree or equivalent experience.
Formal project management training (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, or similar).
