Based in Cannon Hill or RAAF Base Amberley, Brisbane this Project Coordinator position is part of the co-ordination team within the MTTES provides Electronic Warfare (EW) Training Range services to the Australian Defence Force in Queensland and the Northern Territory, and other deployed locations. We operate and sustain a diverse range of EW systems and associated networks and software to deliver the required training outcomes.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Support the planning and coordination of program exercises, events and activities conducted in various locations around Australia
Preparation and management of program management artefacts, including meeting agendas, presentation packs, and action item management.
Data input, management and reporting of Jira an Atlassian software program.
Review resource management against project schedules ensuring all tasks are allocated times, people and budgets.
Undertake travel as required, both within Australia and internationally, to fulfil the requirements of this role (typically within Southeast Queensland and Northern Territory).
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Requires a University Degree in Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience required.
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of program management.
Requires practical knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.
Experience in preparation of presentation material and reports.
Experience in tracking documentation changes and project cost and scope management.
Experience with project management software, such as Jira highly desirable
Experience with earned value management and risk management processes highly desirable.
