Establishes, refines, and maintains mission and quality assurance program policies, processes, and procedures. Ensures compliance with the Aviation Performance Work Statement (PWS), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Subcontractor Statements of Work (SSOW), and other contractual requirements. Works directly with aviation operating entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses, and internal audits are conducted IAW the Business System Manual (BSM). Generates results-based quantitative assessment of contract performance for use by external stakeholders. Provides expertise and guidance on interpreting policies, governmental regulations, and agency procedures. Acts as liaison between the company and various foreign and domestic government agencies.
A. Duties/responsibilities:1. Senior Quality Assurance Auditor; works directly with aviation operating entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses, and internal audits are conducted IAW Business Systems Manual (BSM).
2. Implements document control, data management, and records maintenance practices IAW the Aviation Business Management System (BMS).
3. Ensures compliance with the Aviation Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
4. Prepares quantitative data for use by stakeholders.
5. Conducts periodic audits during maintenance procedures with technical inspectors, to ensure compliance with AS9110 standards.
6. Implements AS9100/9110 compliant data, documentation, and records management products, processes, and procedures.
7. Maintains and retains Corrective Action Requests (CAR), root cause analyses, and subsequent Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
8. Implements performance measurement and data collection methodology for the Quality Assurance Surveillance Program (QASP).
9. Utilizes organizational communication products for the continual process improvement program, subsequent change management plans, processes, procedures, standards, key process indicators (KPI), and effective measurements.
10. Participates in the development of appropriate communication, knowledge, and project status reporting procedures.
11. Performs additional tasks assigned by the Quality, Safety, and Mission Assurance (QSMA) Manager.
12. Develop written documentation, SOPs, end-user manuals, and instructions on department-specific data collection systems.
13. Contribute to effective knowledge management system to meet company’s requirements for QMS data storage, access, and security.
14. Design and implements analytical QMS data outputs, products, and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
15. Examine complex data sets and translate into analytical products, important trends/patterns, and valuable insights to inform business decisions and policy choices.
16. Generate external statistical reporting to meet information management requirements of the corporate management (e.g. prepare monthly IPRS slide for NG, send to analytics for verification).
17. Generate accurate and relevant analytical products designed to identify and mitigate risks and create business opportunities.
18. Provide recommendations for the scope and criteria of internal audits based on the developing trends and statistical analysis.
19. Provide recommendations for the revisions of company Quality, Policy, Quality Objectives, and PWS.
20. Provide recommendations for the overall QMS improvement and enhanced business efficiencies.
