Quality Technical Assistant - Regulatory Process
Job Description:
We are seeking a professional to join GE Aerospace Celmas Quality Assurance and Regulatory team. This individual will support the team in ensuring the companys compliance with both regulatory and customer requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Participate in customer and regulatory audits.

  • Control of procedures, forms, and technical documents related to ensuring compliance with process/product requirements.

  • Support GE Celmas Aviation Authorities certification control.

  • Knowledge of aeronautical regulations including Parts 43 and 145 to ensure companys regulatory compliance.

  • Generation and analysis of metrics related to Quality indicators for review with the leadership of operational areas under your performance, such as non-conformities, general delinquencies, meeting quality objectives.

  • Assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities within existing processes.

  • General support of the Quality Management System, such as internal audits, supplier control, regulatory compliance, and analysis and approval of internal processes.

  • Monitoring non-conformities related to your processes.

  • Work with multiple stakeholders to understand key problems and develop solutions with the team.

  • Apply general business knowledge developed through education or past experience. Understand how the work of own team contributes to the area.

  • Resolve issues using established procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems standards such as ISO9001 and AS9100.

  • Technical or higher degree in areas related to Quality, Engineering, or similar fields.

  • Good ability to conduct presentations and relay quality-related topics.

  • Good interpersonal relationship and teamwork.

  • Advanced English – Ability to read, write and communicate. Spanish is a plus.

  • Knowledge of computer tools, MS Office package.

Desired Characteristics

  • Ability to document, plan, and execute projects.

  • Desirable knowledge of root cause analysis tools

  • Previous experience in a repair or maintenance environment for aeronautical articles
