Position Summary

This position will ensure compliance with customer and industry requirements through the review of customer orders and specifications and communicate these requirements within the organization. They will also be responsible for maintaining the document management systems and coordinating document revisions as well as supporting other aspects of the Quality Management System.  

Responsibilities

• Review Customer purchase orders for requirements and partner with Customer Service, Operations, and Quality departments to ensure compliance.

• Coordinate and complete customer quality surveys.

• Manage Quality System documents in OMNEX DocPro software and provide OMNEX support as necessary.

• Manage repository of external specifications and coordination of specification review including identification of differences in preparation for the review.

• Responsible for planning, coordinating and completing quality analyst tasks, assignments and projects to ensure compliance with Parker LORD and customer technical expectations at a minimum cost to the company.

• Assist in quality audits to ensure internal compliance and coordinate customer/third party audits/inspection.

• Assist in analyzing problems and trends within the Quality department and facilitating process corrective and improvement activities.

• Work both individually and in a team environment.

• Other Quality Management duties as required.

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Technical, Paralegal, or Business Curriculum or related discipline

• 1-3 years’ experience in the quality, sales, or administrative field with demonstrated ability to assume increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and general-purpose software (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail, highly focused and self-driven.

• Strong organization skills 

• Ability to effectively communicate requirements and technical data internally with Quality, Engineering, and Production departments at all levels.

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of the SAP Quality and Customer Service modules

• Advanced knowledge of Parker LORD manufacturing processes and procedures.

• ISO/AS9100/IATF16949 experience.
