RTV Packer/Shipper – 6-Month Rolling Contract

About the Role
We are looking for an RTV (Return to Vendor) Packer/Shipper to join our Logistics Team at Safran Aerospace. This is a hands-on role, focused on packing and shipping goods being returned to suppliers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and safe handling at every stage.
This is a 6-month rolling contract, worked to a set shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am–4:45pm and Friday 8am–12pm.
Your Day-to-Day
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for Return to Vendor (RTV) shipments
• Generate and process RTV paperwork through SAP, courier, and supplier portals
• Liaise with couriers to arrange collections and deliveries (email, phone, portals)
• Check and verify RTV documents, parts, and quantities against requirements
• Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring drivers are approved and ID-checked
• Maintain RTV and dispatch logs/records accurately
• Follow all relevant quality and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with 5S standards
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a warehouse, packing, or shipping role preferred (training given)
• Computer literate (SAP experience a plus)
• Reliable with strong attention to detail – ensuring correct goods and paperwork every time
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills when dealing with suppliers, couriers, and colleagues
• A positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing requirements
