Rave is Jeppesen’s domain-specific language for crew management systems, enabling optimized scheduling, compliance, and efficiency. Similar to C/C++, with Python useful for reporting, it requires strong logic skills, interest in aviation, and eagerness to learn industry rules and optimization.
- You develop, implement, and maintain business rules to optimize crew scheduling and resource allocation within the Crew Management System.
- You analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimizations by translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
- You create and execute test cases to validate the functionality of rules.
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the calibration of optimization parameters.
- You configure business logic according to the specific requirements of the Jeppesen system and airline operations.

Requirements
Are You Ready for This Role?
- You have a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You have at least 2 years of programming experience.
- You are comfortable using basic Linux command line skills.
- You have experience with any functional programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python).
