Receiving Inspector / Shipping and ReceivingJob Description
Join a global aviation parts and inventory solutions provider that supports airlines, MROs, OEMs, and distributors through a centralized parts marketplace and sourcing network. This role involves ensuring the quality, accuracy, and traceability of incoming parts and materials in a quality-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for shift by reviewing inbound deliveries and prioritizing according to open purchase and repair orders.
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments, ensuring packaging integrity and inspecting for damage, corrosion, or missing components.
- Verify accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and supporting paperwork against purchase or repair orders.
- Confirm that all required documentation is present and matches the order details.
- Accurately enter, verify, and validate receipt data in the ERP/inventory system to maintain correct and traceable inventory records.
- Utilize shipping and receiving platforms to track inbound deliveries, confirm deliveries, and address any carrier-related discrepancies.
- Document any discrepancies such as wrong parts, short counts, or damaged packaging and support resolution efforts.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to label and route materials to the correct areas and maintain clean receiving practices.
Essential Skills
- Experience in receiving inspection and material verification in a warehouse or stockroom setting.
- Ability to perform visual inspections and basic condition assessments.
- Strong skills in verifying part identity, quantities, and documentation against orders.
- Experience with carrier shipping platforms such as FedEx and UPS.
- Proficiency in ERP/inventory systems for accurate data entry and validation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Material handling and basic warehouse movement experience.
- Familiarity with cycle counts and bin/location concepts.
- Strong comfort with Excel and Outlook for communication and tracking.
- Exposure to quality systems or inspection processes in regulated supply chains is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is air-conditioned, and employees are required to wear steel-toe shoes from their first day. After converting to a permanent position at approximately 90 days, the cost of steel-toe shoes will be reimbursed up to $80. The standard working hours are from 7 am to 4 pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
