This is a permanent full-time position based at our head office in the South Terminal of the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, BC. Hybrid work arrangements (on-site and remote) may be considered based on operational needs.Pacific Coastal Airlines is headquartered at the South Terminal of the Vancouver International Airport. As an established regional airline, we fly scheduled and charter service between busy international airports, remote destinations, and beautiful communities within the province of British Columbia.In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for Airport Operations and Flight Crew positions while supporting broader People & Culture initiatives. You will play a critical part in building strong talent pipelines and ensuring we hire exceptional individuals who embody our People First values. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a recruitment function that truly values people, safety, and community.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Full-Cycle RecruitmentLead all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and pre-employment checksBuild positive candidate relationships and assess suitability based on skills, experience, competencies, safety mindset, and cultural alignmentManage candidate activity and workflow within the Dayforce ATS, ensuring accurate documentation and complianceSupport additional recruitment needs across the organization as requiredTalent Sourcing & Pipeline DevelopmentUse multiple sourcing channels including online platforms, social media, employee referrals, industry connections, and aviation schoolsRepresent Pacific Coastal Airlines at career fairs, campus events, and aviation-related networking activitiesLead and manage the Company’s Low Time Pilot Program, including screening, program coordination, and proactive pipeline developmentHiring Manager PartnershipCollaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic recruitment supportRecommend improvements to enhance the candidate experience and hiring outcomesEnsure timely movement of candidates through the recruitment process with consistent communication and follow-throughHR Systems & Process ImprovementMaintain requisition accuracy and candidate tracking within the Dayforce ATSEstablish consistent tracking, reporting, and evaluation processes for candidate activityIdentify opportunities to enhance recruitment workflows and support People & Culture initiativesQUALIFICATIONS:EducationPost-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredExperienceMinimum 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in aviationExperience recruiting for technical or specialized rolesExperience supporting remote or multi-location hiringFamiliarity with regional airline operations is an assetTechnical SkillsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience using ATS/HRIS systems; Dayforce experience is an assetEffective use of social media platforms for sourcing (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and aviation specific platforms)Knowledge & ExpertiseUnderstanding of recruitment best practices and industry trendsKnowledge of aviation workforce needs is an assetFamiliarity with the Canada Labour Code, Human Rights legislation, and company policy frameworksSoft SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilitiesAbility to prioritize competing deadlines and meet recruitment targetsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-throughAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Why Pacific Coastal Airlines?Company Culture: We honour our company motto of People Friendly, People First for both our employees and our passengers.
