As we continue to grow, we’re looking for Recruiters who know how to spot top talent and help them land smoothly as we continue to expand our Airline.
These are fixed term full-time positions expected to last approximately 6 months.
As a Recruiter at PAL Airlines, you would be responsible for finding, attracting and hiring the people who help keep our airline running – both in the air and on the ground. These roles also partner closely with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Ground Operations and Training teams to ensure staffing needs are met in compliance with Transport Canada regulations and organizational standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You’ll be the first point of contact for future crew members—shaping their candidate experience and being their first PAL.
- Own full-cycle recruitment across aviation and operational roles
- Partner and collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the role requirements and workforce needs
- Proactively source candidates using creative and strategic recruitment approaches
- Screen, interview, and guide candidates through the recruitment process
- Create and source talent pipelines for aviation and operational roles
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience
- Support employer branding initiatives that showcase life at PAL Airlines
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years of recruitment experience (aviation, skilled trades, or technical roles would be considered an asset)
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting software
- Strong interviewing and relationship-building skills
- Ability to balance high-volume hiring with niche, specialized roles
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
- A keen eye for talent and a genuine passion for people
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms for sourcing candidates
- Time management skills and the ability to handle a large diverse portfolio of requisitions
