Job Description Summary
Inputs: Dynamic systems coming from an in service Aircraft.
Mission: The job holder performs repair and/or maintenance of aircraft dynamic systems, according to technical documentation.
He/She performs failure investigation and trouble shooting.
He/She performs functional tests.
Outputs: Repaired dynamic system ready to be mounted on Aircraft.
Your working environment:
Our Miami site is located close to downtown Miami and only 10 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA). This location supports all of our Americas customers, but is crucial to our Latin American operations due to its close proximity to Latin America and the Caribbean. This site manufactures about 38,000 certified Eaton hose assemblies a year. Additionally, our Miami site is the home of the regional FAA-145 repair station, which was established in March of 2017.

Your challenges:
Repair-related functions: 70
Complete inspection, testing, overhaul and/or repair of all incoming work orders IAW CMM and FAA regulations.
Adherence to all FAA, EASA and regulatory guidelines in performance of all duties as Repair Technician
Completion of all related documentation required for any inspection, testing and maintenance of repair units to include: work order travelers, inspection reports, FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1, serviceable tags, internal processing or routing documentation within SAP
Tracking and submission of all shop equipment which requires calibration, ensuring all calibrate equipment are up-to-date before a work order is inducted
Meet with assigned deadlines for all job responsibilities related to Satair, customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies
Adhere to all SOP&39;s, requirements and standards of Quality Control
Must be able to read and understand schematics, drawings, maintenance manuals and CMM&39;s.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English fluently
Production Related responsibilities: 15
Receipt and un-packaging of all incoming batteries or related battery shop parts and equipment
Packaging and labelling of all completed shop material in preparation for shipment or delivery to customer
Ensure the repair station and personal workspace is maintained and kept tidy at all times, applying 5-S methodology
• Provide accurate reporting of status of assigned work-in-progress work orders
Individual Development and Team Responsibilities: 10
Participates in annual recurrent training specific to duties and other training as recommended for both Repair and Quality applicable functions.
Work to contribute in a positive way so that department KPI’s are met.
Actively participate in Environmental, Health and Safety processes and procedures.
Actively participate in Ethics and Compliance processes and procedures.
Your boarding pass:
- Education:
- High School Diploma
- Some College Preferred
- Experience:
- 3 years required prior production experience
- 5 years preferred production experience
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Manufacturer training certification preferred
- Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to provide attention to detail
- Ability to function and adapt in a fast-paced environment with flexibility
- Ability to understand and comply with company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
