About the role
We are recruiting for Reservations Agent to join our dynamic team in Discover Qatar.
In this role, you will assist in processing and confirming bookings/reservations of tourism arrangements for customers travelling to Qatar (transfers, tours, tourism activities and accommodation). You will provide seamless operations and excellent services to clients / customers (B2B and B2C) and also promote Qatar as a premium tourism destination.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Respond to and address customer queries via email, phone, or chat with the utmost professionalism and exceptional service skills, ensuring that personalized customer service is delivered at the highest standard.
- Sell; up-sell and cross-sell Discover Qatar (DQ) products and services to the client/ customer. Additionally, make new reservations and changes to existing reservations, quoting the correct rates along with terms and conditions. Issue and re-issue of vouchers/ other documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services offered by Discover Qatar, as well as visa regulations and requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient booking processing experience.
- Escalate queries to senior Reservations staff (Coordinators, Officers) as appropriate
- Update logs and reports in a timely and accurate manner to enable the business to track and monitor service levels effectively, while also ensuring that payment records are matched accurately.
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications
About you
A successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- High School Qualification with minimum of 1 job-related experience.
- Destination knowledge of Qatar preferably with Tour management background.
- Good command of English language
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Tourism back-office system
- Knowledge of Airline reservations systems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and able to manage time/ priorities and to work on multiple assignments and challenging targets.
