Scheduling engineer M/F

Job Description:

Reports to Planning Manager and responsibility:

•tDirectly accountable for the safe, complaint and efficient planning and scheduling of customer engine maintenance demands.
•tReview daily, weekly delivery plans and organize the daily planning activity to plan demand and capacity requirement.
•tReview Technical shop visit instructions and prepare execution schedules for all Engine /Module activities.
•tResponsible for efficient allocation of appropriately skilled resources based on Gate management strategies
•tDeployment of shift operation considers human factor principles and fatigue management in compliance to regulatory requirements.
•tLiaising with SAESI departments (Operations, Materials, Engineering, Quality, etc.) to ensure smooth and efficient execution of work scope TATs.
•tResponsible for setting individual PDR objectives and performance management of the planning department staff, including coaching and development
•tTrack progress of service orders for all shop visit activities related to Engine, module, component level maintenance and apply changes in schedule as applicable.
•tDaily management Level 2 SQDPI for shop product line planning in accordance with SAFRAN QR/QC principles.
•tEnsure efficient allocation of appropriately skilled resources based on engine delivery targets.
•tWork together with Operations, Materials, Engineering to resolve service order ambiguities and work scope escalation impacts.
•tGuide & supervise bay planners.
•tConduct regular meetings with gate managers to communicate daily plan/change of plan/TAT
•tOverview alignment of planning schedules with progress.
•tMentoring planning coordinator to generate demand signals for material kitting preload prior Gate 3 Assembly
•tDemonstrate planning processes during audits.
•tReview staff training requirement & propose plan
•tReport manager planning on daily progress
•tAssist manager planning for Load & capacity set
•tAssist manager planning for yearly budgeting
•tSupport operation staff in SAP related issues
•tActively participate in various process development /Kaizon project.
•tReview engine release documentation.
•tOverview of the record archiving process
•tIdentify areas where digital planning tools may improve processes and execute their implementation.

Job Requirements:

•\tTechnical Diploma or Degree in Engineering
•\tMinimum 5 to 20 Yrs of planning experience preferably in MRO
•\tProcess knowledge in Engine Build up/Module removal /Installation/repair/overhaul.
•\tExperience in TAT milestones in production process
•\tGood knowledge of concession, dispensation and departure records.
•\tEngine work scope Interpretation skills and task sequencing.
•\tDemonstrated experience in complex problem solving and understanding of Lean tools
•\tExcellent human skills (Effective Communication, Multi stake holder collaboration)
•\tERP key user expertise –Previous experience in SAP will be an added advantage.
•\tGood knowledge on 5S and engine shop best practices.
•\tSenior level expertise in technical record review & archiving.
•\tBasic knowledge of Leap engine & its modular construction.
•\tExcellent human skills (Effective Communication, Multi stake holder collaboration)
