Functional Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the security system and cybersecurity function.
Role Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain security systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems, Perimeter Security, Alarm Systems, and Hangar Surveillance.
- Ensure restricted access to hangars, workshops, tool cribs, stores, data rooms, and aircraft parking areas.
- Monitor access rights for engineers, technicians, contractors, and third-party vendors.
- Support Visitors & Contractor Management Systems, including badge issuance, access control, and escort compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and audits of security systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Coordinate with vendors for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Support investigations involving security breaches, tool control issues, or aircraft access violations.
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning for critical MRO security systems.
- Support compliance with aviation regulatory and customer requirements (e.g. CAAM, EASA, FAA,
- IOSA, ISO 27001).
Functional Duties
- Produce and maintain CCTV surveillance operators training modules.
- Selection of CCTV surveillance operators and training.
- Review, analyse, and update the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for ACS and CCTV operating system.
- Authorised staff are given access to designated/approved areas by the Head of Department (HOD) / Stakeholder.
- Develop an appropriate security system to detect and safeguard the Companys premises/assets against any sabotage, unauthorised access, and unlawful activities.
- Coordinate the installation, testing/commissioning, and maintenance of security systems to be delivered as per the approved design.
- Evaluate and recommend the number of access control points and CCTV surveillance cameras for maximum protection.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to enhance overall security posture.
- Enforce cybersecurity policies for shared workstations, portable devices, and OT environments.
- Work closely with IT and engineering teams to minimize cybersecurity risks without disrupting
- protection.

Minimum working experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Aviation Security or regulated aviation environments.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control Systems, alarm systems, and visitor management.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity (ISO 27001)
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Professional qualifications
- ICAO or a relevant aviation security certification.
- Aviation Cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with aviation business systems and IT/OT environments.
